When Life Throws A Curveball

Recently, life presented a curveball to me. People are quick to highlight successes in life without disclosing the steps it took to get there. There are often hard decisions in life one must make in order to be successful. When faced with this curveball, I had to lean on my principles to help me stay on my path to success.

At first, I took an emotion based approach to the situation which caused me to lose my cool and focus. In hindsight, this would have caused a major detour on my path to success. Although I am not where I want to be, I am where I need to be and can confidently say I am on the right path. I am so confident in this because of the principle I utilized in making this decision. My path will be unique and different from most, but I am embracing it and taking pride in it all the same. 

When life throws a curveball at you, stay loyal to your principles, don't sweat the situation, and hit a home run.
